Who we are?
Little Acorns Pre-School is a Voluntary Pre-School and we are located within Clandeboye Primary School, Clandeboye Road, Bangor.
How do we collect information about you?
We obtain personal information about you when you: 
  • Contact us to put your child’s name on our waiting list.
  • Make an application for a place in the Pre-School
  • Fill in a child’s record sheet when they commence pre-school.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include you and your child’s name and address, email address, telephone numbers, telephone numbers of those picking up your child and any other relevant medical information that you give to us about your child.
How will this information be used?
We will only use your personal data to deal with your application when you apply for a place in Little Acorns Pre-School, or to maintain contact with you while your child is under our care.
What is the lawful basis for processing my personal information?
We are carrying out a specific task under a legal obligation, which requires us to collect this information, for use by a regulatory or government body.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
Your personal data will not be shared with any other 3rd parties, other than where we are required to do so by law and by legitimate business needs. This may include bodies such as: 
  • Department of Education
  • Health and Social Care Trust/Social Services  
What do we do with your information?
We have security measures in place to protect your personal information. Personal data is stored on an online storage system, with restricted access, paper records are held in a secure filing cabinet.
How long do we keep your personal information?
We’ll keep your details for minimum period required for the purposes for which it was collected, or for which it is to be further processed. Sometimes we will keep it longer if we need to by law. Otherwise we delete it.
